Aqua Pennsylvania (Aqua) provides water and wastewater services to approximately 1.4 million people throughout 30 counties in Pennsylvania including those in southeastern Pennsylvania. Aqua recently built a 1 megawatt solar farm to power its Ingram's Mill treatment plant, which was chosen by the Pennsylvania Environmental Council to receive the Governor's Award for environmental excellence. The plant also won the Green Power: Turn it On! award from Citizens for Pennsylvania's Future (PennFuture). Aqua is slated to build a second, 1.5 megawatt plant at its Pickering treatment facility later this year.
